I did alot of reading on 2+2 today, some articles that my coach told me are a must read for any poker player that wants to become a solid numbers player. I played pretty well today and should have ended with a 2 buy-in day, but a couple of donks got lucky river cards and took away two pots for about a buy-in. Oh well, at least I was smart enough to not put more money in when I knew they got there. Had a few nice plays today, including stacking a guy off with 10 4 off. Its funny how a simple battle for the blinds can lead to a full stack shipping into my bankroll. Unfortunalty had to lay down Aces today but it was a good play cuz the guy had flopped top two. So I jumped back up to 50NL today and pretty much lost everything I won at 25NL. I'm starting to work closely with a friend of mine to find out what I need to do to beat 50NL b/c currently I've lost approximately $900 at this level. until this debt is made back and some back on top I will not be moving to 100NL so this means I need to make about $1500 at 50NL before I'll be moving to the next level. I cannot begin to appologize enough to my fellow bloggers. I couldn't believe it myself that I haven't updated my blog in almost a month. Well we're all caught up and I will make a strong effort to start playing and blogging more consistantly. I'm getting to the point where I can start playing 50NL again. The only problem is having some of my money on stars and some on FTP but its nice being able to bounce back and forth finding the better games. Had a great session today after getting home from working winning almost 5 buyins on stars. I think i also got another $22 from RB last month. SOOOO pathetic considering I'm use to getting 10x that much back from RB. I like Stars games better but RB is a huge help too. Got on a little last night and some before work today. Another solid day at 25NL stars. I am really seeing the difference in FTP an PS. Games are soooo much looser. I can't wait to build bankroll up again and start playing 50NL again. I have been very happy with my play the last couple days even though I have taken a couple bad beats. I am on just a cold streak. Not getting hands, getting coolered, even by my friends. My buddy Jon hit a miracle on the turn and ended up taking my stack. I guess I was really confused by the raise. Thought he might had a better 10, I guess I got a lil nervous playing with my teacher. You know Jon couldn't be more right when he said the money doesn't even matter. It's just playing correct poker, the money will naturally come. You know the thing about poker is you can play perfect poker and at the end of the day be negative in your session. I guess if there's one thing I have learned is that I'm not going to win every day and that bad beats are gonna happen no matter what. I learned that today, quite a few times actually. Besides the hands below I also played a suited connecter 109c vs a guy that was raising every single pot. I decided to call and flopped the second nut. withth eflop being 1099I knew I had this guy. I bet he dumped I instacalled only find him holding the only hand that beat me. Pocket 10's just a cooler. It seems the donks never hadve it when you know if you were in the hand you'd call with a pair of dueces. Some rough beats today and another negative day. I'm not looking like I'm going to meet my goal of 1100 by monday, unless I get on one hell of a heater. After seeing some of the hands below I think you'll understand why.

Man I don't think I've ever had a day to where I just didn't really feel like playing cards but today is kinda one of those days. We got a foot of snow today in Omaha and I think I snow blowed for 3+ hours today. The one cool thing that happened today is I had AA on 4 out of 5 of my tables today at one time. Too bad 3 out of 4 folded around preflop. Stu Unger said AA are good for two things winning small pots and losing big ones. Oh well, I'm sureI will play a good long session tomorrow. MGR from rakebreak this month was just under a grand so I'll be getting a nice $270 kickback in the middle of March. Hopefully then I'll be close enough to move up to $50NL where I'll start making some real money.

Work is so exhausting, I wish I could just sit at home and play poker all day. Jumped on for a little bit before midnight but am going to post this blog as the 16th. If there is one thing I've learned is you need to raise with any pocket pair 22-AA. Building a pot for a reasonable price and when you hit your hand you always get paid off, especially when someone at your table hits TOP TOP. The huge advantage of playing tAG is the people at your table just can't believe you have it every time. People make stupid calls when your hanging on to a set or flush. They just get blind sided. It's great to stack people playing marginal hands. I'll probably put in a long session tomorrow, I finally have a day off it will probably be a 2500 hand day.

Haven't played any today yet but will be putting in a session tonight from midnight til about 4:00 get my 1200 hands in. Rakebreak finally came in so the bankroll is back where it needs to be. Will be getting a new job and be getting on salary. Friday I'm buying a computer and buying what Jon calls the FAB FOUR. Poker Tracker, Aces HUD, Idle Miner, and Sixth Sense. According to statistics using these tools can increase your winning up to 200% playing the weakest 10% of the tables. Can't wait to start making the good money and hopefully catch up to Miller, lol. I will be putting in some long sessions once I get my computer with a 20" moniter. Four tables with no overlap, SSSWEET. This month's rakebreak is already up to $245 throught the 10th of Feb. hoping to get another $150-$200 next month will hopefully be sitting around $600 this time next month. Yesterday's session was a super card dead session, and every time I did have a hand I was out of position and couldn't do anything after betting the flop and getting called. Oh well I lost a couple buy-ins and might not play much today. Can't wait for rakebreak!!

What a fantastic day. Got home early from my morning shift at work and played for four hours. I don't think I took a single bad beat today and got paid off on some monster pots. Some of the people and what they were moving in with just blew my mind. I'm surprised I didn't lose a few today. I was sick to my stomach sweating a couple of them out but they ended up with me taking down the pot. Another great session like today I'll be back to even and with Rakebreak coming in on the 12th i'll be sitting over $300. Well keep fighting the good fight, later fellow Rounders.

What a sick ass morning. I've been beaten and left for dead. Jumped on tonight and ran into AA agaisnt KK, KK agains QQ, every time I had a big hand somebody had one bigger. I've lost like 5 buy-ins in a matter of 45 miniutes of playing. Here enjoy my misery.

I jumped on this morning before work thought I would play a few hands. Got in 307 before work and had a good session winning 2.5 buy-ins in 1.5 hours $18/hr too bad I didn't get paid that at my job. Went to run some errands and came home though I would jump on for a lil before Ma gets home. I've got 680 hands in right now and wll probably play for another hour. Sitting about even from this mornings balance in which I didn't record any big hands just play solid poker. I think I'm gonna call it JM poker. Jon told me one thing yesterday that I will definitely forever adhere to, "Never Slowplay." and you know I might miss out on a few dollars here and ther but I will never have to wrry about POKERG GODS screwing me out of a big pot.
Well I'm on the up and up hope to make today another good session.

An early start to today. Playing with jon and talking stradegy is really helpful and he seems to be a valuable asset. If I can get on a nice run again maybe I can move up some limits. Wow I have never lost more money with aces and kings, taking some friendly advice from Jon I tightened up my game quite a bit. It seems that nobody at these limits gives two shits how long you wait to play a hand. I got trip aces busted 2x by runner runner flush and straight cards I guess I can't complain when I get my money in the pot with the best of it but some of these players blow my mind. I can't wait to get my computer back and buy poker tracker. I pray to god it works because today I've taken the sickest beats i've had in a very long time. I bet this morning I saw Aces and Kings around 15x combined and I know my aces got cracked at least 3X and Kings 2x. My computer restarted so I'm unable to get the hands posted but here's one beat with aces.

I got this idea from a guy named Jon Miller. I decided I need to start tracking my success and see how long it truly does take to make the big money. I'm gonna follow Jon's level rules and hope to make it big. I guess the only difference is I actually started at $80 but have worked my bankroll up to around $200. 50K is alot but if i can make around 10k I will be happy.

Last month I had $570 in MGR(27% being returned to me) from rakebreak which will kick about fifteen buy-ins my way on the twelth. My computer is in the shop right now but I will be trying to average 1000 hands a day.
